THE BAND BudaBelly is a San Francisco band that gets the crowd rockin' at popular venues around the San Francisco Bay Area. The five member group got their start as a 70's/80's pop/R&B band three years ago, as part of a larger band called Funk U, and have since transformed into the ultimate rock band playing well known hits from 80's glam rock to 90's alternative rock hits. With their high performance energy and impromptu audience participations, every BudaBelly show is a guaranteed good time! | |||
AILEEN – Vocals & Keytar Originally from Wilmington, NC, Aileen made her move to sunny California by fooling the admissions officers that she was smart enough to get into Stanford. Now a software engineer by day, she is able to support her rock goddess alter ego by night. When she is not feeding her email or Tivo addictions, Aileen travels, hosts her own film festivals, and campaigns for a Dunkin Donuts/Chik-Fil-A/Bojangles in SF. Aileen has single-handedly put Radio Shack keytars back on the map in San Francisco as the instrument of choice for females fronting rock cover bands with Buda in its name. |

JUDY – Vocals & Keytar Judy discovered her passion for performing at the young age of via break dancing. Yes, old school style with cardboard and boombox in tow for Seattle sidewalk ballet. Throwing in some improvisational acting and commercials, Judy always had the curiosity to push her artistic boundaries outside of her product management day job. After many years on the dance circuit, four years with the Seattle Supersonics Dance Team, and post-college years with San Francisco-based hip hop dance troupes, Judy finally found her calling…belting out rock tunes in strappy boots. |

DAVE – Bass Guitar Originally from Flushing, New York, Dave made his way westward to San Francisco after school stints at Penn and University of Michigan. After his day job as a managing consultant is done, Dave enjoys sharing his dimestore philosophy of life with whomever will listen. Dave impresses the ladies with his world famous Marlboro cigarette box origami tricks coupled by his wacky theories of the world in which we all live. With nicknames like Spanky and Donger, Dave likes the fun on and off the stage. |

TY – Guitar Ty grew up on a steady diet of Ozzy, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, and other 80's metal bands in his teenage years growing up in Southern California. If there was ever a baseball-jersey-concert-shirt-wearer back in the day, he was it. Study hard, rock harder in the garage was the mantra growing up. Ty has lived in Seattle, Chicago, Ann Arbor, and New York prior to ending up in San Francisco. You can find him fiddling with guitars, a martini in hand, or enjoying the adventures of traveling to distant lands. Technology business development pays the bills. |

MARVIN – Drums IT architect and mastermind by day, madman drum guy by night. Marvin is bringing sexy back one drum solo at a time. Growing up in the bay area, Marvin likes to fancy himself as an intellect with a mean streak for beats. You can find him behind boats on something streamlined and going fast, racing cars on winding roads, or finding the best fried chicken and beer combo in town. Marvin likes to travel to far away lands to find new beats in life. |
